ACCOUNTING/BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION: Accounting Adjunct Instructors: Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree plus an advanced degree, one of which must be in accounting. A CPA or CMA license, practical experience, or teaching experience is required. (Reply Box AF 1-12)
Business Administration: Adjunct Instructors: Minimum Qualifications: Master of Business Administration Degree in Management, plus practical work and/or teaching experience. (Reply Box AF 2-12)
AFRICANA STUDIES: Adjunct Instructors: Master's Degree in Africana Studies, Doctorate preferred; For AFR Theatre, Bachelor's Degree and experience in Black Theatre. (Reply Box AF 3-12)
ALLIED HEALTH SCIENCES: Anatomy, Physiology, and Medical Microbiology Adjunct Instructors: Minimum Qualifications: Master's Degree in one of the biological sciences or equivalent. College or advanced placement teaching in the Anatomical, Physiological or Microbiological sciences required. Candidate will teach anatomy and physiology and/or medical microbiology. Medical Lab Technology Adjunct Instructors: ASCP certified as a Medical Laboratory Technologist. Master's Degree and teaching experience preferred. (Reply Box AF 5-12)
Physical Therapist Assistant Adjunct Instructors: Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in physical therapy, or Associate's Degree in Applied Science for PTA's; licensed and registered in New York State as a physical therapist or certified as a physical therapist assistant or eligible. Recommendations: Experience in clinical physical therapy practice including knowledge of the role of the PTA; Classroom, laboratory or in-service teaching or clinical instruction or Center Coordinator of Clinical Education (CCCE). Involvement in APTA; continuing education. Currently in physical therapy practice. (Reply Box AF 6-12)
Radiologic Technology Adjuncts: Baccalaureate Degree in Radiologic Science or related field, five years of teaching experience at an accredited Radiologic Technology Program, ARRT Certification and New York State License. (Reply Box 7-12)
Radiation Therapy Technology Adjuncts: ARRT registered in Radiation Therapy. New York State License in Radiation Therapy. Bachelor's Degree preferred. (Reply Box 8-12)
Respiratory Care Adjunct Instructors: Baccalaureate Degree in Respiratory Care (or AAS in Respiratory Care with a Baccalaureate Degree in a related field; AAS in Respiratory Care with ten years full time clinical respiratory care experience may be substituted for clinical adjunct faculty in specialty areas only as approved by the Program Director), five years full time clinical respiratory care experience in an acute care hospital setting; NBRC registered therapist (RRT); New York State Licensed Respiratory Therapist. Surgical Technology Adjunct Instructors: Minimum requirements: Five years current operating room experience; CNOR/CST certification (CST is mandatory); BSN in Nursing or Bachelor's in Allied Health Sciences; BCLS certified. (Reply Box AF 10-12)
ART: Adjunct Instructors: Master's Degree and/or a Masters in Fine Arts Degree in an art-related field and recent college-level teaching required. Be able to demonstrate continuing artistic growth and involvement in his/her areas of specialty through current art exhibitions, freelance work, and/or publication and presentation of research papers in a given field. Must re-qualify for any class he/she hasn't taught for five years. Computer Graphic Adjunct Instructor: Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree. Recent college-level teaching preferred. Knowledge of one or more of the following required skills: graphic design, desktop publishing, web design, animation, digital video production, 3D modeling and video game development. Knowledge of one or more of the following software applications is also required: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Dreamweaver, Flash, Final Cut, Premier, After Effects, Maya and Unity. Art Fashion Techniques/Design Fundamentals Adjunct Instructors: Teaching Art 135 Design Fundamentals, Art 136 Fashion Art Techniques I, Art 235 Fashion Art Techniques II, and Art 236 Fashion Art Techniques III must have professional Seventh Avenue experience in the field of fashion design and/or an A.A. degree in a related field. Photography Adjunct Instructors: M.A. or M.F.A. and recent college teaching experience. For studio photography and photojournalism, Bachelor's Degree and professional experience in the field required. Instructors teaching within the Photography Area must possess and demonstrate adequate knowledge of Digital Imaging techniques and processes. This shall include a competent knowledge of the imaging workflow from capture to print. Include where available: a letter of application, curriculum vitae, link to your website, and three references. Please be prepared to furnish (if contacted for interview) a portfolio of your own work, samples of student work and sample course syllabi and to demonstrate adequate knowledge of Digital Imaging techniques and processes. BIOLOGY: Adjunct Instructors: Masters or equivalent degree + a minimum of two years college biology teaching experience. CHEMISTRY: Adjunct Instructors: Minimum qualifications: Master's Degree in chemistry or closely related field with college teaching experience required. PhD preferred. (Reply Box AF 16-12)
COMMUNICATIONS: Adjunct Instructors: In addition to a Master's Degree, all instructors are required to have some combination of the following, appropriate to the discipline:
a. Experience teaching in their discipline on the college level;
b. Experience teaching in their discipline in a professional setting;
c. Professional experience in media production;
d. Graduate training in TESOL;
e. ASLTA certification;
f. Professional experience as a Speech Language Pathologist
g. SEPI rating of advanced or better
Specific disciplines include: Interpersonal/Human Communication, Rhetoric, Film or Media Studies, Speech Pathology, Applied Linguistics, Linguistics, or a Deaf related field) unless departmental needs require that a generalist be hired. (Reply Box AF 17-12)

CRIMINAL JUSTICE: Adjunct Instructors: Masters Degree in one of the following disciplines:
a. Criminal Justice;
b. Criminology;
c. Sociology;
d. Social Work;
e. Public Administration;

LEGAL STUDIES: Adjunct Instructors: Must be an attorney duly admitted to practice law in the State of New York, including experience in the specialty of law being taught and experience working with paralegals in a law firm setting.
