As the College approaches normal operations in the wake of Hurricane Sandy, our thoughts continue to be with the people in our community who experienced dislocations and loss as a result of the storm. For those interested in helping in these efforts, there are a number of organizations that are dedicated to bringing critical aid to affected communities.
NASSAU COMMUNITY FOUNDATION
The NCC Foundation is providing continued support in the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy. Medical supplies, toiletries, towels, food, and undergarments have been generously donated to those being cared for on our campus. In addition, a Hurricane Sandy Faculty and Staff Relief Fund has been created in conjunction with the Alumni Association to assist our College community. For those that have been impacted and are seeking immediate need, please contact us at: foundation@ncc.edu
