How do I establish residency?
To be eligible for resident tuition, you must have one year's legal residency in New York State and six months in the County of Nassau. The legal residency of an unmarried student under 21 is established by the residency of his/her parents. Residency is proven in various ways; Download the pdf that reviews the documentation which can be provided.
How do I apply for graduation?
The graduation application is available outside of the Registrar’s Office, lower level of the Tower. The form is submitted to the Office of the Registrar with a printed Degree Evaluation (available through MyNCC). What courses are offered each semester?
Visit our our MyNCC Class Schedule page to see courses for the desired semester, or log into your MyNCC student account, if you are already accepted to the College or are already attending classes at NCC.
How can I get into a closed class?
NCC has established a Waitlist process in which nearly every academic department participates. Waitlisting for a class does not guarantee you a seat; however, if a seat becomes available in the closed class and you are in the first position on the waitlist you will get an email sent to your NCC Student Email notifying you of the availability. You have exactly 24 hours to register for the waitlisted course. Waitlists are available until 3 days before a semester begins. By the first day of the semester all lists are deleted.
How can I return to NCC once I stopped attending?
If you have attended another college since enrolling at NCC, you must reapply for admission through the Office of Admission. If you have not attended another college, you may be readmitted by visiting Office of the Registrar.
Where do I apply for Admission?
Visit the Admissions home page to find descriptions on how to apply based on the type of student you want to be at NCC.
How can I withdraw from a class(es)?
If you intend to withdraw from a course, you must officially withdraw through your MyNCC student account or by filing a completed Drop/Add Form with the Office of the Registrar. Check the Academic Calendar for online availability to drop or withdraw and the college deadlines.
