How do I change my personal information?
The Change of Personal Information form is available online or students may stop by the Registrar’s Office to pick one up.
How do I order a transcript?
There are two ways you can order an official Nassau Community College transcript, electronically or in person. Mail-in requests can no longer be processed. In-Person official transcript requests will not be immediately available. In-Person requests will take five business days.
How do I establish residency?
To be eligible for resident tuition, you must have one year legal residency in New York State and six months in the County of Nassau. The legal residency of an unmarried student under 21 is established by the residency of his/her parents. Residency is proven in various ways; Download the pdf that reviews the documentation which can be provided.
How do I apply for graduation online?
Apply for graduation by logging into your My NCC Portal. Review your Degree Evaluation available through your MyNCC Portal to insure that you have met all your degree requirements.
Deadlines for applying are as follows: Fall Semester Graduates – Last Monday in October; Spring Semester Graduates – Last Monday in February; Summer Semester Graduates – Last Monday in June.

What courses are offered each semester?
Visit our MyNCC Class Schedule page to see courses for the desired semester, or log into your MyNCC student account, if you are already accepted to the College or are already attending classes at NCC.
How can I get into a closed class?
NCC has established a Waitlist process in which nearly every academic department participates. Waitlisting for a class does not guarantee you a seat; however, if a seat becomes available in the closed class and you are in the first position on the waitlist you will get an email sent to your NCC Student Email notifying you of the availability. You have exactly 24 hours to register for the waitlisted course. Waitlists are available until 4 weeks before a semester begins. After that all lists are deleted.
How can I return to NCC once I stopped attending?
If you received a degree/certificate from Nassau Community College, you may be readmitted by visiting the Office of the Registrar. If you attended and did not receive a degree/certificate, you may be readmitted by visiting the Office of Admission.

How can I withdraw from a class(es)?
The first week of the semester is the drop/add period for which you can use your MyNCC account to drop/add a class. During the second and third week of classes, you may only drop a course using MyNCC account. As of the fourth week of classes, you may withdraw from a course by completing an "In-Person" Drop/Add Form and obtaining the signature of your instructor. The form must be submitted to the Office of the Registrar to officially withdraw. Check the Academic Calendar for online availability to drop or withdraw as the deadlines may be different for each semester.
